Andrew Hawley, a strategic creative, has an extensive background in web, mobile and youth marketing. He founded what is still one of New Zealand's leading interactive web and mobility agencies in 1999 handling clients such as Telecom Mobile, Pulsate Mobile, ANZ Bank, Icebreaker New Zealand, and Western Union.
During this time he also helped establish what is now a global ISP, as well as an Asia-Pacific based mobile development firm.
During this time, Andrew developed a keen interest in online entertainment, earning a finalist at the Microsoft/Vodafone Kiwi Startup emerging technology awards for a web enabled telemetry control game and commercial application concept. He’s also been recognised with 2 Golds & 2 Silvers at the New zealand RSVPs, two Silvers at the Caples Awards in New York, a winner in several categories at the Asia Pacific Future Marketing Awards, and a couple of finalists at the Cannes Advertising Festival.
After a break from work and a period of serious cycling overseas Andrew returned to New Zealand and joined TOUCH/CAST in November 2004 to help deliver the award winning campaign, Rock, Paper, Scissors and help conceive and deliver Push the Button, both for Telecom Mobile.
Andrew then founded TOUCH/CASTNEXT with creative partner Lee parkinson, and has been devising and delivering award winning creative strategy as well as scoping and delivering interactive solutions ever since.
