[TVC, Cinema, radio, street projectors, black light
cards and press advertisements, dance parties]
A launch campaign was followed two months later by a
pre-Christmas campaign aimed at raising brand awareness
and pre-Christmas sales.
The launch campaign embodied all the values underpinning
Pulsate Mobile - it had street cred with a tech-savvy
product and infrastructure backing it up. The media
used was aimed at the target market - for them to understand
and others to be bewildered, aimed at creating an elite
following in the brand's early stages.
The technology infrastructure behind the product was
demonstrated by utilising a live video link between
three dance parties simultaneously to enable people
to communicate to each other as well as the use of covert
animation sequences being played upon walls around key
cities.
Both campaigns were targeted towards main centres nationwide
and involved a wide range of media.
The television and cinema ads were
designed to deliver product information and give people
something visually impressive to view.
The radio advertising was used to increase product
credibility through demonstrating the Pulsate email
functionality.
The campaigns were complemented
by street-level advertising using projectors and glowing
Pulsate cards to increase Pulsate’s urban presence.
